Jets Softball

Jets Softball is our new competitive softball program for girls ranging from 9-15 years of age. This program is designed for girls and families who want to play and compete against other players and teams on the Island and in BC.

Jets teams will be created based on skill level, however, the CVBA will create as many teams as possible at each age group to ensure that as many players as possible who want a chance to compete will have the opportunity.

The CVBA encourages girls at the 5U-9U level to particpate in our co-ed house baseball league in order to build skills and knowledge of the game due to the natural overlap.

For the 2026 season, the CVBA plans to offer the following Softball Programs:
9U - Practice Only
11U - "B or C" Team
13U - "B or C" Team
15U - "B or C" Team

Training Timeline
- Winter training will be offered at the Bill Moore Indoor Center starting on Wednesday, January 7th from 4-6PM.
- Outdoor practices and tryouts (if needed) will start in March/April with exhibition games against other associations on the weekend.
- District Championships will be on the June 24-26 weekend.
- If qualified, BC Championships in July.
